The theme, "Winds of Change" encompasses not only the potential changes and challenges of the VPP in the near future, but the continuous modifications and progression in each VPP site's program. Scholarship Fundraiser at The Legacy!
The 5th Annual Scholarship Golf Fundraiser will be held on Monday, May 7th at The Legacy Golf Club, minutes away from the Marriott. Many prize opportunities will be offered to all participants, including the chance to win a new car!
The Legacy Golf Club is a public golf course located just south of Des Moines, Iowa. Players of all abilities will enjoy the choice of four sets of tees and forgiving fairways. The experienced golfer will be challenged by the precision required for approach shots and the undulating putting surfaces. All golfers will be impressed by manicured bent-grass fairways, tees and greens, lush Kentucky blue grass rough and unmatched customer service. Besides the nationally recognized golf course, golfers will find a full practice facility and GPS on our new fleet of Club Car carts.

Workshop Applications!
You can assist the continued success of The Region VII VPPPA conference by submitting an electronic proposal to present an educational workshop at the 19th Annual VPPPA Conference to be held at The Marriott in downtown Des Moines, Iowa, May 7-9, 2012. There are 60 minute Workshops, eight-hour Skill Builder Workshops and four-hour Pre-Conference Workshops. Submitting a proposal is easy by simply going to the conference workshop links below and follow the instructions. There are numerous workshops already submitted so please send in your proposals early! The committee will look favorably on advanced, new and value added topics. Do you have information that will help conference participants face the challenges of achieving or maintaining excellence in occupational safety, health and environmental practices? If yes, please consider sharing your insight with the conference participants. Attendees especially enjoy workshops using a “how-to” format to emphasize ideas, problem solving and positive results. Conference attendees generally say that the two most important factors in their decision to attend the Region VII annual conferences are education and networking. We encourage you to submit workshop proposals for the 19th Annual Region VII VPPPA Conference.

This includes educating industry within Region VII (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska) about OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) and other voluntary governmental efforts to improve workers’ safety and health and environment.

Meals are included! When you attend the Region VII VPPPA conferences, your meals are included! This comprises of dinner Monday evening along with breakfast and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday! Exhibitor/Networking Reception Our exhibitors make up an important part of the overall conference. The reception offers a great opportunity to meet with the exhibitors and network with other conference attendees.
